Refund Policy

Purpose

This Refund Policy spells out conditions and procedures in cases where students are requesting refund of fees they have paid Roosevelt International University of Baptist. The University is determined to be fair, transparent and consistent when receiving refund requests.

Eligibility for Refund

A student can apply to be refunded in case:

  • The student drops the program in the acceptable period of refund.
  • The student cannot proceed with the studies on the basis of legitimate and documented reasons.
  • The University cannot render the enrolled program or service as it promises.
  • The refunds are not assured and can be considered and approved by the University.

Refund Request Procedure

In order to seek a refund, the student should:

  • Send a written request to the University administration on a refund.
  • Give a specific purpose of the refund request.
  • Include any necessary supporting material.
  • Make sure that you make the request within the stipulated period.
  • Unfulfilled or delayed requests might not be taken into consideration.

Process of Investigation and Review

All refund requests will be:

  • Vetted by the Finance and Academic Review Committee of the University.
  • Researched to check enrollments, attendance, academic activity and adherence to University policies.
  • Assessed in terms of authenticity and eligibility.
  • The University has the right to demand more information or documentation in the course of investigating.

Refund Processing Timeline

  • Refunds shall be processed after a span of at least of 30 days (one month) has elapsed since the date of the refund request submission.
  • This time enables enough time to investigate, authenticate, and process the administrative side.
  • Actual crediting time differs and it may depend on the bank or mode of payment of the student.

Non-Refundable Fees

Non-refundable fees are the following:

  • Applicant and registration costs.
  • Administration and processing costs.
  • Service fees on services already made.
  • Third party charges or bank charges.

Mode of Refund

  • The original method of payment will be used to refund the amount of money wherever possible.
  • The refundable amount will be less the bank charges or transaction fees.
  • The University has no duty to bear delays by banking institutions.

Denial of Refund Appeals

Refund requests can be denied in case:

  • The learner already used academic materials or services.
  • The application is made out of an unsound or misrepresentative information.
  • The student has breached the University policies.
  • The time of refund has elapsed.

False Claims

False or fraudulent claims of the refund may lead to:

  • The denial of the refund request.
  • Disciplinary action
  • Cancellation of enrollment
  • Where appropriate legal action.

Policy Amendments

The University may make changes or revise this Refund Policy any time without any prior notice.

Applicability

The policy of this Refund is applicable to all students enrolled in courses provided by Roosevelt International University of Baptist in all learning modes.
