Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) apply to the use of the site, online services and academic services of Roosevelt international University of Baptist (the University, we, our or us). By accessing or utilizing this web site or even registering to any program, you accept to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

Your use of this website, application, or enrolment into a program means you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, the other policies of the University, such as the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Academic Policies, and Code of Conduct.

Use of Website and Services

The University site is offered as a source of information, academic and administrative. Users agree:

  • To operate the site in a legal and ethical manner
  • To avoid abusing or disrupting the operations of websites
  • Not to make attempts to get to University systems illegally
  • Not to post or transfer malicious code, viruses, and malware

  • The filing of an application does not ensure admission

School Curriculum and Academic Programs

The University is at liberty to:

  • Change program composition, curriculum, credit hours or mode of delivery
  • Terminate or cancel a program or course
  • Shuffle faculty assignments and academic timetables

These changes will not be legal claim or compensation reasons.

Fees, Payments, and Charges

The students are all expected to pay the fees and additional fees on time.

  • Students and programs can not transfer fees
  • The University can change fee structures anytime
  • Late payment would lead to loss of access to academic services

Refunds

The University has a Refund Policy that controls the refunds. A refund request is not always granted. Refunds are only done after administrative research and validation.

Distance Learning and Online

In the case of online programs or blended programs:

  • It is the responsibility of students to ensure that they are well endowed with internet and technical access
  • The University does not suffer any technical failure which is not in its control
  • Access credentials should only be used personally and should not be shared

Intellectual Property Right

Every single material on the web site including:

  • Text
  • Images
  • Logos
  • Course materials
  • Videos
  • Documents

belong to the University or providers who are licensed and are covered by copyright and intellectual property laws. It is not allowed to be used unauthorizedly.

User Conduct and Discipline

Users and students must not:

  • Fraudulently file information
  • Intimidate or discriminate other people
  • Break the academic regulations (cheating, plagiarism)
  • Stereotyping Or illegal or unethical practices
  • Create havoc in academic or administrative activities

Breaking the rules can lead to either a disciplinary measure, suspension, or loss of enrolment.

Privacy and Data Protection

The personal data are gathered and treated in the Privacy Policy of the University. Through the site, users agree to the gathering and utilization of data as stipulated in the site.

The site can have the links to the third-party sites. The University does not take care of:

Severability

In the event that a clause of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, the other clauses shall continue to have full force and effect.
